Abstract:

This field book consists of a list of plants (mostly bamboo) collected by T. R. Soderstrom in India, 1978. Collector numbers 2580 through 2596 are included. Entries include: collector number, scientific name, locality, date, elevation, physical description, habitat, abundance / rarity, and other observations. Some entries also include P. I. numbers and plot numbers. Entries are long and descriptive. Several sketches are included throughout. Localities include: Calcutta, Howrah Botanic Garden. Lists of photographs are included in the back of the book.
