Abstract:

This field book includes the field notes of T. R. Soderstrom from a trip to Savannah, Georgia, in 1978. Entries seem to pertain to specimens collected by others, perhaps part of an herbarium collection. Entries describe the physical appearance of plants (mostly bamboo), including branching, color and observations of culms. Entries include scientific name, and occasionally also include P.I. numbers, collecting locality, collector numbers (2525 through 2530). Several sketches of plants are included throughout the book. A list of photographs and a list of needed supplies are included in the back of the book.
