Abstract:
The field book details collecting efforts and observations of the Solomon Islands and Fiji, while William Mann was collecting as a Sheldon Traveling Fellow. Entries appear to be chronological, but dates are not consistently given. The first several pages have been marked out, but are still legible. The book also includes lists of supplies, some hand-drawn sketches, list of expenses, addresses, and inserts.
