Abstract:
Correspondence, shipping invoice, customs form, bill from Panama Railroad Company and Grace Line, expense list, and report from Gazin's 1951 collecting trip to Panama, created from 8 December 1950 to 4 May 1951. Correspondence includes letter from Gazin to Kellogg about plans for trip to Panama; Gazin to James Zetek about foot lockers sent to the latter. One page report summarizes collecting activities and collections (mostly mammals) and is accompanied by list of the 115 specimens collected recording specimen number, what was collected, date, and locality (including notes like "under a tree" or "north pit"). Specimens collected from 27 January to 16 March 1951. Localities include El Hatillo and possibly other areas.
