This item contains data on foraminifera collected during Eltanin cruises 9 and 10 dated from August 28, 1963 to October 17, 1963. Spine of the item records serial numbers 4061-4173. Stations visited during these cruises were located in the Southern Ocean and South Atlantic Ocean near the southern tip of the South American Continent and Antarctica. Other locations may be included. These data sheets contain the following data fields: ship name, cruise no., station no., sample no., total no. samples, date collected, time, depth range, water filtered, plankton displ. vol., surface temp. and salinity, coordinates, estimated and actual count, species, total specimens in sample, relative abundance, absolute abundance, and total.
