Abstract:
List of birds and nests Kennicott observed at Lesser Slave Lake and Fort Liard with notes on nest materials, incubation for eggs, abundance and other descriptions. This list is followed by a register of specimens collected at Fort Yukon, 10 July 1861 to February 1862. Collector numbers 1484 to 1860 are included. Kennicott records notes on eggs, scientific name when known, locality, date, sex, occasionally preservation method, and other details of collecting. What look like measurements are also included.
