This field book consists of a list of plants collected by Lyman B. Smith in Brazil in 1957. Collector numbers 7236 through 9899 were included. Entries list collector number, scientific name or common name, locality, date, and other sets of numbers (one set possibly refers to quantity of specimens collected). Localities include: Itajai, Ibirama, Palmeiras, Lajes, Mafra, Porto Uniao, Cacador, S. Vicente, Joacaba, and possibly others.
