Abstract:
Second of two running catalogs of bird collections by Blakiston. Notes on the left hand side of book seems to be duplication of notes in "Birds of Japan, China" (notebook with accompanying publication). Numbers for these notes include 1-325, approximately T5 to T301, and approximately 1036-3267. These notes continue about halfway through the book and then end. Notes on the right hand side continue throughout the book. They list birds collected from January 1876 to 18 September 1882, numbers 2001-2978. Localities include but are not limited to Ota (and other Tokyo localities), Hakodate, Mori, Sapporo, and the Kuril Islands.
