Abstract:
List of birds numbered 1-325. These numbers correspond to an accompanying copy of a publication (annotated by Ridgway) Blakiston wrote about the collections he made in Japan circa 1882. Two other sets of numbers appear in the book, but are not in order. One set of numbers seems to have an approximate range from T5 to T301. The other set of number appears to have an approximate range of 1036-3267. According to the accompanying publication, many of these were collected "in the neighborhood of Fuji, at Chiusenji [Chuzenji], and on the Southeast slope of Tateyama [...]."
