Abstract:
Field notes on birds Mearns saw (and some possibly collected) in Ethiopia from 26 December 1911 to 13 February 1912. Birds of Adis Ababa (Ādīs Ābeba) from 26 December 1911 to 7 January 1912 and Hawash (Awash) River from 26 January to 13 February 1912 are noted here. Notes remark on abundance and commonality of the birds. An itinerary for Mearns travels from 13 December 1911 to 21 March 1912 is also included.
