Abstract:
Two pages of notes on birds Mearns saw but did not collect in Aden, South Central Arabia (modern day 'Adan in Yemen), no date, but probably in 1908-1910 (dates of the Smithsonian African Expedition). Sometimes quantities are included. Additional notes from Nyiro (Samburu Uaso Nyiro Game Reserve ) in British East Africa (modern day Kenya) in August and September 1909 and Guas Ngishu (in Northwest Kenya) in 13 November 1909 are included.
