Abstract:
Included in this correspondence are letters from curators at the United States National Museum pertaining Mearns's collections, military orders and memos, and several letters from a publisher, Casper W. Hodgson, asking Mearns to assist him in publishing a map of Mindanao. Several letters from Charles w. Richard about issues with the bird collection sent to the museum by Mearns, a letter by O. J. Mason regarding anthropological specimens, and a letter by [T. W. True?] about a paper on Philippine mammals are included. Letter dates range from 23 August 1907 to 28 September 1908.
