Abstract:
This dispatch book may be the source for some if not all of the carbon copied dispatches in “Dispatch book, March 30 - April 12, 1904” located in Box 11 (SIA Box 18) of the same collection. This book, however, contains some unique information not found in the other dispatch book bearing the same dates. This item includes original and some carbon copies of dispatches about the war, lists of birds and other animals observed, and other field notes from the Philippines. Collector numbers 13333 to 13340 and 13424 to 13434 are included. Localities include but are not limited to Camp Vicars, “Lake Lanao”, “Taraca River”, and Malabang.
