Abstract:
This field book contains lists of birds, mammals, and reptiles Mearns and colleagues collected or observed from the Mt. Malindang Expedition in the Philippines and other notes from this trip from May to August 1906. Collector numbers 14095 to 14279 (birds) and 6124 to 6198 (mammals) are included. Also included is the following: a list of personnel of the Mt. Malindang Expedition; notes from July and August 1906; and special itinerary notes for 11 - 13 June 1906; list of fresh water crabs; "“Moro jim (=Tibog) says the Zamboanga Moros belong to the Sam’-ah trbe, bird names (Malindang collection)”; and birds collected by Robert Schroder and James L. Wood. Localities include "Mt. Bliss", Mt. Malindang, "Mt. Williams", and Mt. Libo (Mount Libo Libo).
