Abstract:
An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected by F. R. Fosberg from 17 August to 25 November 1967 in New York, California, and Virginia. Collector numbers 48562-48673 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, with occasional notes on locality or physical descriptions of specimens (size, color, etc.) Some longer narrative notes document vegetation in various localities. Localities include but are not limited to: Orleans County, Genessee County, Allegany County (New York); Marin County, Monterey County (California); Faquier County, Shenandoah National Park (Virginia). Loose pages of notes can be found in the volume as well.
