Abstract:
Map and astronomical charts are from Alexander Wetmore's time in South America 1920-1921, when working for the U.S. Department Agriculture, Bureau of Biological Survey. He was investigating the distribution of life zones of North American migratory birds in southern South America. Maps are from Wetmore's collecting localities. Maps include Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil; Buenos Aires; Argentina; Paraguay, and southern region of South America (with notes).
