Entries are dated, and include lists of plants headed by location and type of terrain (sometimes date), weather, travel details, plant specimens collected, daily activities, academic work, descriptions of terrain (color, composition, measurements, appearance), and dredging and mollusks found (numbered). Some entries are crossed out. Includes hand drawn maps.
