Abstract:
This journal contains notes on Bartsch's field research on snails and birds in the Florida Keys from 2-19 May 1919. Lists of birds are included throughout the journal. Journal entries include notes about birds seen (and possibly collected), collecting cerion, and visiting and planting cerion colonies. Page 55 contains a list of cerion plantings to be made. List of cerion specimens, numbers 91-99, inserted at title page. Locations include but are not limited to Palo Alto Key, Sand Key, New Found Harbor Key, and Big Pine Key.
