Abstract:
The maps of Peru, Bolivia and South America document Edmund Heller's work during the National Geographic Society Yale University Peruvian Expedition, 1915. The folder includes photocopies of originals that have been removed to oversize storage. Includes a printed route map of the expedition; a topographical map the area around Machhu Picchu [Machupicchu], Peru with hand written notes about sightings of mammals, plants, and ruins; map of Lamport & Holt line (ship) routes and connections; and map of Bolivia from 1905.
