Abstract:

This journal was kept by Fairchild on a collecting trip to Java, 17 June 1896 to 7 January 1897. It includes descriptions of specimens, including mainly fruits and termites, but also fungi and fish. Also includes some loose notes on termites, a small number of photographs of unidentified plants, and a letter written by August Weberbauer in German.
