Abstract:
Photocopy of field notes and additional original field notes of Gorton Earle Linsley on squash and gourd bees taken in July and August 1961 and sent to Paul Hurd. Notes include observations of squash bees, especially xenoglossa and peponapis, temperatures, and notes on the host plant cucurbita. Also included is correspondence (original and facsimile copy) from Hurd to Linsley thanking him for this notes. An annotated map of Arizona and the western most parts of New Mexico is also included.
