Abstract:

This is 16 of 16 folders of typed and hand written notes covering the observations of L. Walkinshaw in Michigan, 1918-1991. Includes a combination of formats and content on birds, eggs, and nests. Observations include nest data in a combination of nest number, date, clutch size, measurements, weight, height of nest, type of tree, and egg success; nest observation notes on species, nest (habitat), eggs (quantity), dates and followup observations; bird band data; and maps of nest locations. Locations include the counties of Michigan: Ingham, Jackson, Calhoun, Washtenaw, Muskegon, Mackinac, Clinton, and Chippewa.
