Abstract:
Gabrielson's more or less daily journal from 1 January 1955 to 31 December 1956 containing lists of birds observed and collected, notes of professional activities such as meetings and conferences. Notes of every day life also include information on additional bird sightings and collection. Gabrielson's bird lists also include notes on abundance or commonality. Many of the bird lists seem to be taken near his home. Localities encompass a wide geographic range as Gabrielson traveled often. Localities include but are not limited to Sioux City (IA), Gales Creek (OR), Welder Wildlife Refuge, and Amsterdam.
