Abstract:
Gabrielson's more or less daily journal from 1 January 1950 to 31 December 1952 containing lists of birds observed and collected, notes of professional activities such as meetings, conferences, and field investigations. Notes on mammals are also included. Gabrielson's bird lists also include notes on abundance or commonality. Many of the bird lists seem to be taken near his home. Localities encompass a wide geographic range as Gabrielson traveled often. Localities include but are not limited to Seattle, Pompano Beach, Pinedale (WY), Nells Island March (CT), Venezuela, and Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge (TX).
