Abstract:

Number 4 in a series of 1903 botanical field notes. This volume contains notes taken in Virginia and possibly other southeastern states from 24 June to 15 July 1903. Collector numbers 8620-8838 are included. Boynton collects a wide variety of plants. Locations include but are not limited to National Bridge, Roanoke, Mountain Lake, and Pulaski. Boynton also includes descriptions of the specimen, descriptions of the soil and soil type, commonality and abundance, measurements, descriptions of localities, and additional information.
