Abstract:
This is 2 fo 2 folders of field notes documenting L. Walkinshaw's observations cranes and other birds, 1982-1983. The first notebook (brown) begins with an inventory of belongings and supplies for travel to Alaska, list of specimens (quantity and type), notes on observations of Mud Lake during May, 1982. The second notebook includes a list of contacts and addresses, notes relating to travel, and observation notes on nests. Locations are scattered and often unclear.
