The field notes document behavioral observations of M. Moynihan of Cyanerpes (Honeycreepers), November 3, 1957-May 15, 1963. Pages are numbered. Dated entries are headed with type and location. Entries include details about behaviors and physical appearances of groups and individual birds and their birds songs. Observations are sometimes over an extended period of time, and text is highlighted along the left hand margin to indicate which bird is being described. Descriptions include sex, colors of plumage, and size. Includes illustrations of birds to augment the text. Observations were completed while at Barro Colorado, Panama.
