Abstract:
This field book is number 6 in a series of field books Boynton used in 1900 during collecting trips in Florida and perhaps other Southeastern states. This field book notes specimen 3132-3292 collected between 5-22 September 1900. Boynton collected a wide variety of plants. One frequently collected genus is Panicum, a grass. Locations include but are not limited to Ocala, Eustis, Dunnellon, Tallahassee, Quincy, and River Junction (currently Chattahoochee), Florida. Boynton also includes brief descriptions of the specimen, descriptions of the soil and soil type, and sometimes how common the species is.
