Abstract:

The notebook documents field work of Franco Rasetti in the Canadian Rockies, 1947-1948. Entries are headed with location, and most consist of section descriptions with length of layer, and description of color, texture and type of rock. Includes a dated itinerary in back for 1947 trip, and a list of photographs taken. Locations include the vicinity of Park Mountain, Mt. Shaffer, Mt. Odaray, and Mt. Victoria.
