Abstract:
Volume 66 is the journal of Phillip C. Shelton completed for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, in Sand-Johnston, June 30 - October 25, 1966. This is a copy of a hand written journal. Entries are dated and headed with location. Describes daily activities sometimes with time of day; interactions with participants; bird-banding with some related data and estimated statistics; references to specific birds by band number; descriptions of birds, nests and eggs organized by type of bird; counts of shore and pelagic birds, often noting a part of island by landmark (i.e. guywire).
