Abstract:
The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 17, February 17-18, 1967. The field book by F .Thompson relates to bird banding return data collected on Howland Island (listing band numbers 923-97501 to 923-98500). Bands were used on Sooty Terns. Some band returns include notes about age, and other characteristics.
