Abstract:
This folder contains check lists of birds Eike spotted in a particular location. Checklists have dates ranging between 19 January to 8 December 1963. Checklists may include date, observer (sometimes others observed with Eike, especially the Virginia Ornithological Society) total birds observed, number of observers, weather, time, and locality, in addition to checkmarks beside the names of birds. Some locations include Harpers Ferry, Assateague Island, Burke Lake, Whiteoak Canyon (Shenandoah National Park), Wachapreague, Glen Carlyn Park (Glencarlyn Park), and his Falls Church home on North Tuckahoe Street. Other locations are also included.
