This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 5 July to 17 October 1961. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were probably observed at or near Eike's home at 2231 North Tuckahoe Street, Falls Church. Little Falls, Nolan Street (Falls Church), and Great Falls Road are recorded as other locations where birds were observed. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds.
