In the front of the book is a list of individuals and their affiliations. Entries are dated and chronological. Subject matter includes descriptions of and interactions with participants; daily activities; dredging; photographs taken; and descriptions of caves and reefs where they collected specimens. Most of the notebook is blank. Locations in the Caribbean include the vicinity of Pidgeon Island, Martinique, and Barbuda.
