Abstract:
This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 15, in 1966. Envelope 1 contains a field book by R. W. Tuxson from work conducted on Hull Island (Orona). The field book includes shorebird counts; counts of other animals including skinks, dogs, turtles, and flounders; and a plant list. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward from work conducted on Hull Island. The field book includes bird nest counts; bird nest observations including materials and dimensions; and some small drawings of nests and colonies. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Walter Bulmer that includes bird banding data from Enderbury Island (listing band numbers 767-47232 to 777-53500).
