Abstract:
This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 28 December 1980 to 30 March 1981. Notes contain daily lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Birds observed at "Mr. Cobb’s field at Braddock and Colchester Roads" on 1-16-81 are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes often include weather and temperature information, quantity, sometimes time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Legend on the verso of the cover: triangle -- bird seen in triangle; “~” – sky or over head.
