The typed and hand written list of soil samples were collected during the Smithsonian-Bredin Caribbean Expedition, 1956. The list is organized by location, and includes corresponding number, and description of collecting location and date. Locations in the Caribbean include but are not limited to the islands of Trinidad, Mustique, Bequia, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Barbuda, Antigua, and Virgin Gorda.
