This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 1 September to 26 November 1977. Notes contain daily lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Birds observed over Clifton on 9-20-77 and on the 25th and 26th of September over Route 81 near Pulaski and Arlington are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. News clippings about the weather dated 9-21-77 are inserted near the entry for 11-23-77.
