This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 8, in 1965. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Fred C. Sibley that includes notes documenting his bird collecting activities on Vostok Island. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Dennis L. Stadel that includes banding data for several Blue-faced boobies and one Fairy tern (listing band numbers 558-85786 to 712-03020) on Vostok Island. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Robert R. Fleet from his work on Caroline Island. The field book includes Berlese sample notes and bird banding data (listing band numbers 853-15001 to 853-41601).
