Abstract:
Photographs document work completed by members of the Alaska King Crab Investigation, in which Waldo Schmitt took part. There are no descriptions on the reverse; there are numbers recorded on the front lower right hand corner. Subject matter includes group and individual images of investigation participants, examples of collected Alaska King Crab specimens (some with objects to denote size), loading supplies on to ship, and ships in port. Images may include photographs taken in Seattle, Washington and locations in the vicinity of Aleutian Islands of Alaska.
