Abstract:
Photographs document work completed by members of the Alaska King Crab Investigation, in which Waldo Schmitt took part. There are no descriptions on the reverse side. Photographs include images of local inhabitants, investigation participants, examples of Alaska King Crab and starfish, life aboard ship, ports, fishermen at work, set of images documenting method of collecting crab, lab space, and crab shell specimens. Collecting was done along the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.
