Abstract:
This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 18 September 1965 to 2 April 1966. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 2231 North Tuckahoe Street, Falls Church or in the surrounding area. Birds observed during a day trip to Cooksburg, Pennsylvania are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. A post card signed M. S. Ken with a clipping attached and dated 12 January 1962 is also included. The clipping asks readers to send in information on the purple martin. A clipping about the weather, dated 3 January 1966 is also included.
