Much of the correspondence is exchanged with staff of the Fish and Wildlife Service. Letters detail background of the vessels used during the investigation; reports of collecting done by shrimp trawls; and specimens. Includes correspondence of Lucile McCain, C. J. Pertuit, Alexander Wetmore, and Frank Walter Weymouth.
