Abstract:
Correspondence documents Waldo Schmitt's work with the Fish and Wildlife Service during their Alaska King Crab Investigation, 1940. Much of the correspondence is exchanged with staff of the Fish and Wildlife Service. Letters detail background of the vessels used during the investigation; reports of collecting done by shrimp trawls; and specimens. Includes correspondence of Lucile McCain, C. J. Pertuit, Alexander Wetmore, and Frank Walter Weymouth.
