Abstract:
This item includes data regarding Bailey's collection and observation of flora and fauna primarily in North Dakota, from July 1-August 13, 1920. Dated lists of specimens typically identify specimens by genus and often also include species identification. Localities include Bismarck, the Killdeer Mountains, and Sentinel Butte. The item also contains a small photograph of Bailey's wife, the ornithologist Florence Augusta Merriam Bailey, taken in March 1900.
