This record refers to 5 field books from the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, Leewards-Midway, June 1966, documenting bird banding activities on Midway Islands. Envelopes 1 and 2 contain field books by T. James Lewis. from his work on Eastern Island and Sand Island. The books include bird banding lists with band numbers 587-66000 to 913-91001. The book in envelope 1 is annotated. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Richard L. Maze from his work on Eastern Island. The book includes bird banding lists with band numbers 508-51752 to 913-75000; island surveys; a map of bird colonies; egg and chick counts; an ectoparasite list; and some field notes. Envelope 4 contains a field book by Ralph W. Schreiber from his work on Eastern Island. The book includes bird banding lists with band numbers 565-47219 to 913-99901; field notes; an island survey; and egg and chick counts. Envelope 5 contains another field book by Schreiber, containing brief field notes and a single list of band returns (575-12599 to 605-11912).
