Abstract:
This item consists of memoranda books of David L. Burckhalter, Robert L. DeLong, F. C. Thompson, and R. W. Tuxson from their work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1967. The memoranda books include field notes, population counts, and banding lists for work conducted on Pearl and Hermes Reef in May and June of 1967 as part of Leewards Survey 19. Islands mentioned include Bird, Grass, Kittery, Sand, Seal, and Southeast. Included are nest, egg, chick and bird counts; seal counts; and plant lists.
