The collection documents the work of Grace Evelyn Pickford in South Africa while she was a traveling scholar of Newnham College, Cambridge in South Africa, c. 1925-1927. Materials include several maps (some with notations) and collecting notes. The collection was managed under the auspices of the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History.
