This collection record describes two field books that are part of the larger collection "Frank Smith Papers, 1893-1942 and undated " (Smithsonian Institution Archives Record Unit 007262). Smith's field experience included investigations at the University of Michigan Biological Station during the summers of 1911-1914 and 1919-1922, and a collecting trip to Colorado in 1916. Field notes from both of these experiences are included in this collection.
