Description:
Book with pages held together by two metal binder rings, one at the top and one at the bottom. The pages are gridded with faint blue lines. The left page has upside-down text on the bottom which reads: [Inascate Villa Medici Gardens]. The right page has text on the top. The first part is typed: [Florence. Villa Medici. Loggia. frescoes, arabesques, Gardens. Latham.] The second part is handwritten which reads: [Lady Sybil Cutting]. The center of the page has a drawing made up of different shapes such as squares, rectangles, and arcs all connected together as one section. Below the drawing there is cursive writing: [Charming interior and old Chinese papers - pretty 18th cent - often Venetian furniture. Some old Cypress trees frequent a high road which needles unchecked in ground. Pretty terraces....] The rest of the text is faded which makes it unreadable.
