Description:
Border comprised of three different techniques has a central band of cutwork with rows of small and large squares filled with needle-made stitches. Densely-made macramé in diamond shapes decorates the top border while the bottom edge has scalloped points of bobbin lace. Possibly made by a nineteenth-century lace school.
